Brooks, Geraldine (1955-)

Australian-born author and journalist Geraldine Brooks grew up in the western suburbs of Sydney. After working for three years for the Sydney Morning Herald her education took her to the United States and her career, as a journalist, around the world. In 2006 Geraldine Brooks won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction for her book March.
