Eggers, Dave (1970-)

Dave Eggers is a writer, editor and publisher. He is the founder of McSweeney's an independent publishing company based in San Francisco. McSweeney's publishes books, a quarterly journal (McSweeney's Quarterly Concern). Eggers is also the co-founder of 826, a groups of seven tutoring centres in the United States.

McSweeney's also publishers Voice of Witness: Amplifying Unheard Voicesa non-profit book series that uses oral history to illuminate human rights crisis around the world.
